The class is given on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 AM-6 PM.
Taking this security guard training class is the required “first step” to get your security guard license in NY State. Our experienced instructors are retired police officers and security experts and come fully certified by the NYS Department of Criminal Justice Services. All classes start at 9 am sharp. Registration starts 30 minutes before class starts. Please arrive no later than 8:45 am. Classes can fill up to capacity. To ensure a place in class, please register and pay online. Mask & social distancing are required. Due to the social distancing therefore limited seating’s.
Training topics include:

Students are required to have a passing score (70%) on a test given toward the end of the class. Upon successful completion, students are awarded a Certificate of Completion. What to bring to class:
1. A picture ID (must be either government-issued or school-issued)
2. Your Social Security CARD
3. Payment (Cash, Debit Card, or Credit Card)
4. Notebook and pen for taking notes
The 8-hour annual recertification course is offered everyday 6 days a week, Monday-to Saturday, from 9 am to 6 pm, appointment is needed, but you must arrive no later than 9 am to take the class. The cost is $39.99
You must bring the following with you when you take the course:
–You NYS security guard license
–You NYS ID card or driver’s license
–A valid social security card (Your certificate will not be registered at the Department of state if you do not provide the correct social security number
Keep in mind that students must stay the entire 8-hour class period to get a license renewed.
If you received a letter from the Department of State asking that you take 2 or more 8-hour annual in service courses to renew your license, please be advised that each 8- hour course must be taken on separate dates.

Our 2-day, 16-hour On the Job Training course is offered ONCE a week. THURSDAY-FRIDAY from 9am to 6pm. If you start the class on THURSDAY , YOU FINISH ON FRIDAY. Appointment is needed. However, you must come no later than 9 am on the day you want to take the course. The cost is $59.99. Class can be paid online or in person.
You must bring the following with you on the day you take the course:
–A valid government issued picture ID such as a drivers’ license or U.S. passport.
–a valid social security card. Your certificate will not be registered at the Department of state if you do not provide the correct social security number, date of birth or the correct spelling of your name.
